Residents at Old Raven House Care Home in Hook kicked off the festive season with a Christmas-themed afternoon. Many of the residents helped to decorate the home and our wonderful Christmas tree while listening to Christmas songs.
Our Head Chef Lynne made sure our residents had some seasonal snacks, with homemade Rice Krispie Christmas puddings and Santa hats for all to enjoy. When the decorations were up, Allan from local group The Goodnight Sweethearts sang classic Christmas carols in the lounge.
This year, our gardener Lee has planted a Norway Spruce Christmas tree in the Old Raven House garden. This will continue to grow through the year and can be decorated with lights every Christmas.
